Outreach & Design Associate - Research, Policy, & Insights
Join a team dedicated to advancing research and evidence-based policy proposals informed by the data, expertise, and resources of JPMorganChase in collaboration with colleagues from across the Corporate Responsibility department and the JPMorganChase lines of business.
As an Outreach & Design Associate on the Research, Policy & Insights team, you will play a critical role in delivering and amplifying the research findings of the JPMorganChase Institute, as well as policy and insights priorities to advance inclusive economic growth. You will report to the Outreach & Design Lead and work closely across the Institute and other Corporate Responsibility teams. Core responsibilities include the development and management of content production, project management, stakeholder engagement strategy and messaging, and event support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project plans for research and other priority publications and deliverables, including: creating and managing project timelines; coordinating across internal and external teams; and tracking impact and outcomes
- Strengthen organizational processes and tools, including content design strategy and production, engagement tracking and analytics, and risk management and control activities
- Support development and delivery of strategic outreach plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to amplify JPMC Institute research and firmwide insights, advance policy priorities, deepen and broaden JPMC Institute stakeholder networks, and sustain internal and external engagement. Responsibilities may include: conducting stakeholder research and landscaping on priority research and policy topics; supporting digital channel engagement strategy (e.g., email marketing, website, social media); drafting long- and short-form content (e.g., briefs, executive summaries, social media posts, etc.); and coordinating pre- and post-release briefings on research or other public initiatives.
- Support the strategic development, project management, and execution of internal and external events, including roundtables, panel discussions, and salon-style engagements in order to deepen the firm's relationship building with key stakeholders, enhance the firm's thought leadership, and drive momentum on key issues.
- Build and maintain relationships across Corporate Responsibility and the lines of business to support shared goals and manage risks appropriately

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Passion for JPMorganChase Institute and Corporate Responsibility missions
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across policy, advocacy, academic and industry audiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent relationship building and collaborative decision-making skills
- Flexibility and organization to manage dynamic timelines and competing priorities
- Positive self-starter with strong independent problem-solving skills
- Prior experience and success in roles requiring attention to detail
- Experience with project management, CRM, and design
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in economic policy and/or consumer finance organizations, think tanks, or public affairs a plus
- Experience with InDesign, Adobe Analytics
