Orchestration Governance & Optimization Lead-Executive Director-Performance Marketing

Performance Marketing, Operations & Transformation serves multiple stakeholders and diverse business goals across the Chase business. Guided by our overarching brand strategy and business partners' objectives, we lead owned channel strategy & innovation, enablement & execution, and investment optimization to drive our shared performance goals.

As an Orchestration Governance & Optimization Lead on the Performance Marketing team, you will support the centralization of line of business requests. You will drive the strategy, frameworks and governance processes for entrance, optimization and sunsetting of campaigns and placements of the owned channels (web, mobile, email, push) to maximize our outcomes. Additionally, you will partner across numerous teams including: Channels and D&A to create the campaign evaluation processes/analytics and inputs (e.g. targeting, creative, testing recommendations) for our target state of single intake, ensuring healthy channels that deliver both value and customer engagement. You will have a deep understanding of digital marketing strategy, an analytical mindset and exceptional partnership and communications skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Home Screen Orchestration (HSO) Constrained Optimization (CO) rollout and management for Performance Marketing; partner with Channels and D&A to extract experimentation insights and define reporting and analytical needs
  • Develop channel governance models for HSO and new digital form factors to maximize accounts and NPV while ensuring an exceptional customer experience; collaborate with Channel Strategy & Optimization to evaluate, enhance, and align governance frameworks and supporting processes.
  • Create the HSO LOB communication and education plan and, with PM Relationship Management, incorporate HSO CO into the LOB toolkit
  • Recommend tile improvement strategies in conjunction with owned media including targeting and creative
  • Provide outcome-based insights and recommendations to Product to refine ranking and decisions models
  • Develop and lead HSO optimization frameworks to converge processes and make it easy to be a marketer; define, monitor, and evolve benchmarks and thresholds
  • Partner with Marketing Transformation to define single-intake campaign requirements capturing content needs, targeting criteria, and campaign metadata for automated governance; provide input into performance and operational dashboards focused on daily optimization and analysis
  • Identify and pilot AI solutions to streamline processes and supporting tasks
  • Collaborate across Marketing and Product partners to inform the P&I testing agenda and capability roadmap.
  • Support scaling of modernized audiences by consulting with LOBs to enable and launch

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years of marketing, strategy consulting or equivalent experience, with expertise in marketing, media planning and analysis
  • Proven experience building relationships across different teams and functional areas
  • Prior experience building a team, ideally from the ground up
  • Proven people leader with demonstrated ability to promote strong team culture, set clear goals, delegate and efficiently organize resources and workstreams
  • Ability to influence effectively
  • High energy, solutions oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • A curious and analytical thinker, with the ability to take data, distill it, and use it to develop and drive strategies
  • Proven executive-level written and verbal communications skills and presence with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Consulting or financial services industry experience
