Operations Strategy Vice President - Securities Services Operations

As an Operations Strategy Vice President within Securities Services Operations, you will partner with APAC leadership and internal stakeholders to support strategy execution, governance, and business delivery. You will lead multiple initiatives end to end, producing executive-ready communications, reporting, and presentations. You will own non-financial KPIs and management information, perform deep-dive analysis, and translate complex findings into clear narratives and visualizations. You will also help improve insight delivery through modern analytics tooling and support budgeting and investment initiatives aligned to business priorities.
Job responsibilities
- Deliver strategy tracking, business planning support, and performance monitoring for Securities Services Operations.
- Communicate business strategy, priorities, progress, and performance to senior stakeholders through executive-ready updates.
- Lead operational programs and governance activities, including roadmaps, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage multiple initiatives end to end, maintaining cadence, escalation, and on-time delivery under strict deadlines.
- Coordinate across operations, finance, technology, and analytics stakeholders to align deliverables and outcomes.
- Define, produce, and maintain non-financial KPIs and management information, including metric definitions and reporting routines.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends and outliers and deliver actionable operational insights.
- Build visualizations and clear narratives tailored for senior audiences to support decision-making.
- Develop high-quality executive presentations and reporting materials that summarize findings and recommendations.
- Use analytics and automation tools to improve reporting efficiency and insight delivery.
- Support budgeting and investment initiatives, including tracking productivity targets and program outcomes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services.
- 5+ years of experience in securities services operations or a comparable operations strategy or delivery function.
- Strong working knowledge of securities services products and operational processes.
- Proven program and project management experience, including governance, reporting, escalation, and delivery of multiple initiatives.
- Advanced analytical capability to translate business problems into analytical plans and actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics or visualization tools such as Python, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with senior stakeholders across functions.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills with clear ownership for issue resolution.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and maintain quality under tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience supporting APAC securities services leadership routines and business reviews.
- Experience building and governing KPI frameworks, data definitions, and reporting standards.
- Experience with automation and productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and version control practices.
- Experience improving reporting processes using repeatable workflows and documentation standards.
- Experience supporting budgeting, investment governance, or productivity target programs.
- Experience driving change management and stakeholder adoption for new reporting or tooling.
- Experience supporting inclusion initiatives in operations programs.
