As a Testing Analyst in Securities Services Operations within the Funds Services Testing COE team, you will ensure the stability and quality of technology platforms through rigorous testing. You will collaborate with operations, change, product development, and technology teams to deliver cross-functional strategic programs. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the successful release of products and services for institutional investors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide input to UAT Test Strategy and Plan.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Coordinate test execution across project work streams.
  • Design and develop manual and automated test scripts.
  • Report, follow up, and track software/process defects to closure.
  • Ensure test environments and data are ready for testing.
  • Escalate issues to Project/Program Managers via Test Lead.
  • Analyze and review requirements for testing.
  • Assist in defining quality gates and generating progress reports.
  • Operate across system, acceptance, and regression test phases.
  • Produce test deliverables within agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in software testing or finance domain.
  • Apply knowledge of SDLC, testing lifecycle, and bug reporting protocols.
  • Utilize web and Windows troubleshooting skills.
  • Use test management tools like HP ALM, Zypher, and JIRA.
  • Apply test design methodologies such as BDD with Cucumber or SpecFlow.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Deliver testing projects in mutual funds, fund accounting, and capital markets.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or MBA in Finance.
  • Possess industry certifications in Software Testing, SDLC, Agile, or DevOps.
  • Demonstrate domain knowledge of fund accounting and portfolio accounting.
  • Understand derivatives and OTC products.
  • Apply experience with Fund Accounting products like SunGard InvestOne or Advent's Geneva.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Operate effectively in a global, diverse team environment.
