Loan Agency Servicing - Associate

As a Loan Servicing Associate II within our APAC Wholesale Lending Services team, you will manage a portfolio of loans across diverse business lines, ensuring compliance with technical standards and organizational policies. You will interpret complex documents, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver tailored loan solutions on time. Your strategic planning and time management skills will help you solve complex problems, strengthen controls, and drive operational excellence. You will navigate challenges through effective conflict and stakeholder management to reach win-win outcomes. By supporting process improvements and joining regional and global projects, you will grow your expertise in complex loan products and contribute to the team's success.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, with a focus on agency servicing for syndicated loan facilities, resolving loan servicing issues and tracking them through workflow tools.
- Review and interpret complex credit agreements and related documents, assessing operational feasibility and coordinating with legal, deal team, and other internal teams as needed.
- Coordinate agency servicing related activities and execute all other loan activities including funding, drawdowns, rollovers, re-pricings, repayments, and interest and fee payments per client instructions and credit agreement terms.
- Calculate and monitor interest and fee accruals at various rate levels, manage lender distributions, and ensure accuracy in all settlements.
- Perform quality control on new deals, restructures, and amendments, verifying system setup and conformity to credit agreements and policies.
- Administer cash flow settlements, reconcile cash breaks, and monitor daily control and exception reports, escalating issues promptly.
- Manage timely transaction processing, coordinating with borrowers, lender groups and facility agents, and internal teams on notifications and payment billings.
- Maintain standard operating procedures, support process and policy changes, and track key metrics and reporting to meet deadlines.
- Contribute to projects focused on automation, efficiency, and control enhancement across regional and global teams.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agency loan servicing or loan operations in banking or financial services.
- Ability to collaborate across functions to ensure smooth client service operations.
- Proven time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience identifying and resolving conflicts within teams and business decisions.
- Proactive problem-solver with sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
- Awareness of operational risks across the lending lifecycle, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Self-starter who works independently and drives results within a team setting.
- Experience developing strategies to improve client satisfaction and service delivery.
