Job Summary

As a Technical Business Analyst within the Post Trade Accounting application development team, you will support global projects across multiple Markets asset classes, including FX, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, F&O, and Stock Borrow Loan. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined, analyzed, and translated into effective technical solutions.

Job Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for post-trade accounting applications.

- Liaise between business users, operations, finance, and technology teams to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.

- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.

- Support solution design, testing, user coordination, and production release activities.

- Identify, analyze, and resolve issues or risks related to business processes and technology solutions.

- Prepare and deliver clear communication, status updates, and reporting to stakeholders.

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to existing systems.

- Build strong partnerships with business, operations, finance, and technology stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar techno-functional role within financial services or investment banking.

- Strong understanding of post-trade processes and financial products (FX, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, F&O, Stock Borrow Loan).

- Proficiency in JIRA for project tracking and issue management.

- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other MS products for documentation, analysis, and communication.

- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) and their application in business analysis or process automation.

- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and propose effective technology solutions.

- Experience in documenting requirements, process flows, and use cases.

- Familiarity with distributed technologies and mature technology environments.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Functional experience in financial applications or accounting systems.

- Experience working in Agile teams and large, global matrix organizations is preferred.

-Experience working with RDBMS (e.g., SQL, Oracle), Unix scripting, and tools such as Jenkins or Perl is a plus.

- Experience with front-to-back flows in investment banking.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Cost consciousness and understanding of total cost of ownership.
