Job Summary:
As a Lead Software Engineer in the Corporate Investment Bank team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering innovative technology products. You will collaborate with agile teams to enhance operational stability and drive business objectives. Your expertise will help us build secure, scalable solutions that support our clients and the firm. Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams
  • Drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs and technical credentials
  • Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering
  • Promote awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Skilled in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems
  • Practical cloud native experience
