Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Network Technical Lead

As a Network Technical Lead in the Network Products and Services team, you will ensure the ongoing support and reliability of all network components within our ecosystem. You will provide expert-level support, focusing on the creation and maintenance of B2B Global DMZ network patterns and solutions. You will collaborate with development teams on software automation and contribute to both on-premises and cloud-based solutions. Your work will directly impact the stability and adaptability of our global network.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain systems, software, and applications across multiple domains.
- Make independent technical design and amendment decisions, leading workload effectively.
- Complete and maintain reporting documentation in line with internal and external standards.
- Collaborate with business areas to schedule and coordinate capacity and network upgrades.
- Lead network upgrades, coordinating with internal teams and third parties.
- Build accurate configuration templates and standards-based documentation.
- Support the deployment of new engineering patterns across development teams.
- Coordinate design work for on-premises and cloud-based solutions within service delivery and business teams.
- Ensure operational stability and adaptability of the global network.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong experience with Cisco network technologies in the financial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, and load balancing technologies.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, HSRP, NAT, MPLS, VPN, GRE, IPSec, EIGRP, and OSPF.
- Deep understanding of BGP and routing policies.
- Familiarity with multicast concepts such as IGMP, RP, and PIM.
- Strong skills in network packet analysis and packet capture tools.
- Working knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Cisco ACI, and VxLAN.
- Understanding of multi-cloud environments and network security practices.
- Proficiency in English with strong communication and client management skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- CCNP or CCIE certification.
- Experience with Python and Ansible for automation.
- Knowledge of ITIL and service management processes.
- Exposure to financial sector technologies.
- Experience with network security standards and best practices.
