As a Training Specialist within J.P. Morgan Advisors, you will operate in a setting that encourages creativity and flexibility, while maintaining high performance and results expectations. Your role will involve close collaboration with Field Support, front office partners, and key stakeholders to pinpoint training requirements. Additionally, you will act as a daily training resource for the front office, providing guidance on J.P. Morgan Advisors procedures, systems, and best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation of content and design curriculums to engage learners and promote understanding
  • Create criteria to judge learner's performance and maintain collateral (Online repository of guides, one-pagers, FAQs, etc)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on training content
  • Analyze source documents, data sets, or other sources to develop training content
  • Plan and execute classroom and virtual instructor-led programs as well as eLearning programs
  • Work closely with legal, risk, and compliance to ensure alignment with policy and procedures
  • Deliver training sessions nationally (virtual and onsite)
  • Facilitate training as needed for new Advisors and Advisor Support
  • Engage the front office on new tech platform and adoption
  • Work closely with the field support team to manage and troubleshoot issues
  • Support recruiting efforts through technology demos

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
  • Adaptable, flexible and willing to work in dynamic work environment
  • At least 5 years experience in instructional design in a training organization
  • Demonstrate use of analytical skills in a training organization
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization; Domestic travel required
  • Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter
  • A self-starter who possesses ability to successfully operate with limited guidance
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to work independently and completely handle multiple responsibilities with high degree of accuracy, in a fast paced high pressure environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly with new or unfamiliar subject matter
  • Ability to take the lead in unstructured situations and ensure an optimal experience
