J.P. Morgan Wealth Management - Vice President, AI Strategy and Engagement
The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase Wealth Management Business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, Personal Advisors and Self-Directed our digital investing platform. The combined business has ~$600 billion in Assets Under Management and ~5,000 advisors located across 3,500 branches and 20 offices.
As the Vice President of AI Strategy & Engagement within the Service & Administration team at JPMorgan Wealth Management, you will lead large-scale initiatives, innovation, strategy, and execution of AI-powered solutions. You will act as a key liaison between product stakeholders and technology teams, championing the development of home-grown ideas, use cases, and core content. You will oversee the rollout, engagement, and utilization of new AI solutions across Federal, State, and Local levels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing impact across the organization.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with Wealth Management goals.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities, use cases, and solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in AI adoption.
- Serve as the primary liaison between product teams, business leaders, and technology partners.
- Translate business needs into AI-driven solutions and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for successful delivery and adoption of AI initiatives.
- Drive the creation of home-grown AI ideas, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.
- Oversee development of core content, including models, algorithms, and data assets.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to inform future AI investments.
- Lead deployment and scaling of AI solutions, monitor engagement and adoption, and provide training and support to all teams.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with regulatory, ethical, and risk management standards; build and mentor a high-performing AI team; manage vendor relationships and support change management using Chase principles.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in AI, data science, or technology leadership roles
- Proven track record of leading large-scale AI projects from ideation to implementation.
- Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and client needs.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience with AI governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to inspire and drive change in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience in product management or business analysis.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.
- Experience within financial services or wealth management preferred
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, big data technologies, and MLOps.
- Demonstrated experience leading change management through a product lifecycle
