Be part of the Advisor Onboarding Team for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, which leads and manages the centralized Advisor Onboarding program. The team creates an outstanding employee experience for newly hired Advisors, empowering them to help clients make the most of their money and their lives. Collaborate with partners across the firm to execute seamless onboarding and support Advisors in delivering on our vision.

As an Advisor Onboarding Associate in the Advisor Onboarding Team for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will initiate and execute the onboarding process for newly hired Advisors, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. You will lead process improvements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and serve as the single point of contact for Advisors and field management. Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for candidates throughout the Advisor Onboarding Program
  • Partner with Recruiting, Licensing & Registration, Technology, HR, and Field Leadership to deliver a consistent onboarding experience
  • Host kick-off calls to review program expectations, timelines, and exam requirements
  • Initiate and oversee licensing and registration processes, ensuring timely completion for assigned Advisors
  • Order licensing study materials and build study calendars to support exam preparation
  • Schedule licensing exams and administer retest policies and procedures
  • Monitor Advisor progress against study plans, escalating risks/issues as needed
  • Connect candidates with tutoring and other support resources, as appropriate
  • Facilitate access to required licensing/registration tools and resources
  • Coordinate hardware/software deployment and resolve setup issues to enable readiness
  • Maintain SLA adherence and communicate clear expectations to Advisors and field management, driving issue resolution end-to-end

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of brokerage or financial services industry experience
  • Apply knowledge of Advisor or Banker Onboarding/Licensing programs and registration processes
  • Exhibit strong customer focus and proactive approach
  • Maintain attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships with business partners
  • Deliver continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with Advisors, Field Leadership, and internal partners
  • Analyze data and trends to inform decisions
  • Create process and procedure documentation
  • Utilize strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Attain a Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Leverage prior experience with securities registration and insurance licensing processes
  • Demonstrate ability to influence positive change through partnerships & execute tasks with enthusiasm and energy
  • Exhibit strong organizational and relationship management skills
  • Guide candidates through complex onboarding and licensing requirements
  • Lead process documentation and improvement efforts & communicate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrate familiarity with CWM or JPMS business (preferred)
