As a Sales Strategy Business Manager within J.P. Morgan Private Client, you will be responsible for promoting operational efficiency, identifying areas for process improvements, delivering high-quality sales presentations and measuring sales outcomes.
In this role you will collaborate with key stakeholders across the firm at all levels. Strong knowledge of business drivers, excellent communication and execution skills, and experience in financial services/banking and/or sales are essential. The ability to adapt and remain flexible in a constantly evolving business are key attributes for success. You must be detail-oriented and skilled at managing in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Sales Strategy and all pillar team leads in strategic planning and execution of key sales readiness activities, ensuring clarity and alignment across leadership and functional teams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Data & Analytics, Operations, Communications, and other Business Managers, to deliver accurate and high-quality progress updates and reporting that informs executive decision-making.
- Develop and design presentations for Sr. Leadership forums to demonstrate core sales strategies, progress updates, and sales roadmap plans.
- Organize information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong sales acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques.
- Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
- Provide continuous feedback on project status and function as the overall escalation point to ensure projects meet original expectations.
- Promote efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Utilize deep analytical skills to assess sales strategy team performance and identify areas for improvement. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of project management and reporting. Apply quantitative and strategic approaches to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and other stakeholders, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value across all sales strategy pillars.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm to influence and align strategic objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business management or project management role within the financial services industry
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality presentations and reports for senior leadership
- Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
