Human Resources - APAC Early Careers Operations Lead
Join us to help drive all key operational activities across the Early Careers season, leading a high-impact team to deliver day-to-day excellence and key initiatives. You will define, build, and maintain controls, policies, and processes that ensure accuracy and a positive employee experience. This role operates at the center of a multifaceted agenda shaped by increasing volumes and regulatory requirements. You will provide hands-on leadership across escalations, issues, and metrics. You will report directly to the APAC Head of Talent Support and Onboarding.
As an Vice President, APAC Early Careers Operations Lead in Human Resources, you will lead, organize, and direct a team to deliver on day-to-day activities and key initiatives across recruiting operations and early career programs. You help define, build, and maintain operational controls, policies, and processes to ensure accuracy and a positive employee experience while managing escalations with urgency and transparency. You drive continuous improvement of processes, systems, and capabilities to meet evolving business and regulatory needs and provide people leadership while triaging issues and managing metrics.
Job responsibilities
- Lead team capacity planning, resource allocation, and skills development; establish clear operating cadences and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across Early Careers recruiting, operations, onboarding, and partner teams; ensure coordinated delivery and clean handoffs.
- Translate evolving hiring needs into operational plans by participating in recruiting meetings, acting as the SME for coverage areas, and setting/aligning stakeholder expectations.
- Own end-to-end recruiting operations and post-offer/pre-hire processes; standardize milestones, controls, and service governance.
- Oversee internship program operations and conversion end to end, manage vendors and timelines to secure on-time outcomes and approvals.
- Run project management for interviews and hiring events: build plans, manage timelines and dependencies, allocate resources, and keep partners updated.
- Drive seasonal readiness and training: maintain current operating procedures and control checklists and conduct simulations to reduce early season defects.
- Lead testing and release management for recruiting products: define test strategies and cases, execute UAT, triage/close defects, and strengthen release gates.
- Champion continuous improvement, risk, and controls: monitor and escalate issues with urgency and transparency; propose automation/standardization opportunities; track KPIs and communicate progress through management updates.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or Human Resources.
- Experience working with HR control partners and internal audit.
- Excellent analytical skills with sound judgment to think through problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand HR requirements, frameworks, standards, and practices.
- Experience building teams and developing now and future ready skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to negotiate and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines within a rapidly changing regulatory and business environment.
- High drive and ownership; willing to work hard to achieve objectives.
- Ability to lead a geographically dispersed team and work independently to rapidly synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, draw conclusions, identify deficiencies, and propose tactical and strategic solutions.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Understanding of automation tools.
- Strong in all Microsoft Office suite products.
- Experienced with Talent Acquisition ATS platforms; Oracle Recruiting Cloud preferred
