As a HRGO Cash Management - Payments Specialist in our HR Operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of payroll funding and related payments for EMEA and APAC. You will partner with stakeholders across HR, Finance, as well as tech team to contribute the process improvements that support our employees and business objectives. We value your ability to build relationships, manage priorities, and drive operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process payroll funding and related payments for EMEA and APAC, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Execute manual payments, including pension plan funding, medical/insurance premiums, shortfall funding, and payroll corrections via various payment systems across the region.
  • Generate remittances to statutory authorities and support annual incentive compensation payments.
  • Perform and review international fund transfers via various payment systems.
  • Execute and report on required foreign exchange (FX) trades for EMEA and APAC locations.
  • Monitor and adhere to internal controls, escalating issues promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in control environment activities, including testing and audit support.
  • Prepare and report on APAC and EMEA metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements and support the development, testing and implementation of improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain ownership of process documentation and team performance.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in payment operations or finance, with demonstrated progression.
  • Experience working to strict deadlines in a controls‑focused environment, strong focus on controls, quality and data accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, with good investigative and query‑handling skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas and data management.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Technology.
  • Good payroll knowledge with the ability to perform manual calculations.
  • Experience working to strict deadlines in a controls focused environment, strong focus on controls, quality and data accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, with good investigative and query handling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with payroll funding and reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge of international fund transfer systems.
  • Experience supporting external and internal audits.
  • Experience in foreign exchange processing and reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead or support process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in preparing operational metrics and reports.
