HR Advisory Support - Associate

As an HR Advisory Support, you'll collaborate with managers and HR partners to drive talent development, performance management, and employee engagement. As an HR Advisory Support in the Human Resource Advisory Support Team, you will partner across all lines of business to provide comprehensive HR support to managers, HR partners, and employees in the Americas ex. US region. You will coach and advise managers on people strategy, enable HR Business Advisors with value-focused support services, and contribute to the development and execution of organizational goals. You will play a key role in optimizing HR processes, driving efficiencies, and supporting annual HR events.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coach and advise managers on common HR topics including hiring best practices, talent development strategies, performance management, employee engagement initiatives, and other critical people strategy priorities
  • Enable HRBAs with value-focused support services including data analysis, insights into key data points to establish and drive progress against people priorities; initiatives within the business and process execution to enhance their advisory capabilities and strategic impact
  • Share knowledge and optimize advisory capabilities of colleagues in Ask JPMC, contributing to the broader HR advisory teams. Analyze processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement to drive efficiencies and leverage best practices.
  • Enable People Strategy contributing to the development of and support the execution of people strategy and goals for the broader organization by providing knowledge of HR operations, policies and processes and acts as an intermediary between HR Business Advisors and other HR teams. Ensure appropriate controls are in place and managed effectively for all critical HR processes
  • Support annual HR events during high demand such as Performance and talent management cycles with reporting and/or presentations and system updates.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3+ years of Human Resource experience
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities; operate with a sense of urgency and ambiguity
  • Utilizes critical thinking and analytical skills regularly to identify issues and trends, develop solutions and/or recommendations to address root cause
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills along with strong analytical and technical skills that enable individual to leverage data to make data driven decisions and create HR strategies that support and drive business results
  • Fluent in English. Excellent written/verbal communication skills and effective storytelling
  • Strong collaboration skills and enjoy working cross-functionally
  • Ability to learn quickly and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of HR information systems preferred (i.e. Oracle Human Capital Management, Business Objects, QlikView, Tableau, AnswerKey, etc.)
