Home Lending - Process Improvement Associate I
Org Effectiveness & Oversight (OEO) Team provides Home Lending with innovative tools to better serve customers, guides employees through change and ensures successful adherence to core functions and regulatory requirements. OEO is the centralized utility responsible for managing business change, resolving escalated customer complaints, developing automated business solutions, executing program management, leading employee readiness, responding to employee feedback, ensuring proper fee treatments, processing vendor invoices and providing oversight and foundational support.
As a Process Improvement Associate I within the OEO Team, you are responsible for assessing business requirements for development feasibility using low-code tools and creates solutions in collaboration with business leads. The role involves translating requirements into technical specifications, managing internal client relationships, and creating executive-level presentations. Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end configuration process of automation requests, maintaining support for internally built solutions, and partnering with peers on the CoE team for planning and implementation support. The candidate will provide support for enhanced automation solutions, document best practices, and share knowledge with team members and in-house developers across the line of business (LOB).
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and understand business requirements and determine feasibility of development, with one or more tools from the low-code toolkit
- Create solutions in coordination with the business and delivery leads in accordance with lifecycle methodology and the Intelligent Solutions Control Standard where applicable. Own the end-to-end configuration process of an automation request from internal customers
- Manage internal client relationships between the business, finance, key stakeholders, and solution users. Create executive-level presentations and status updates provided to clients and stakeholders
- Maintain support for internally built solutions ensuring scalability and robustness
- Partner with peers on the Center of Excellence (CoE) team to provide planning and implementation support
- Provide support for enhanced automation solutions, ranging from process creation and validation to user training and security access
- Document and distribute best practices/standards for usage of automation & data transformation technologies for internal client usage. Provide support and share knowledge and expertise with team members and in-house developers across the line of business (LOB) as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to support the delivery of high-quality results under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving ability

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- College level with at least 2 years applied knowledge in solution development using Alteryx, Tableau, or any mining, transformation, or visualization tool
- Exposure to the banking or financial services industry, including familiarity with banking products.
- Coursework or demonstrated interest in finance or business analytics is a plus
- Experience in training or product, program, or process-related presentation
- Technical Proficiencies: Basic SQL skills (Oracle, AWS), familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation techniques, experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI), and Alteryx Designer Core Certification.
