- Title: Managing Director, Global Head - Director Advisory Services (DAS)
Role Summary:
The Global Head of Director Advisory Services (DAS) will spearhead the development and engagement of a dynamic community of influential Directors for JP Morgan's Global Investment Bank (GIB). This role involves leading a global team to cultivate director relationships and coordinate strategic engagement with select directors. The Global Head of DAS will also implement new technology to enhance engagement, relationship-building, and the measurement of relevant director-related metrics. The DAS team will organize large-scale events globally for directors and board candidates, fostering stronger connections across the business. Additionally, the team will collaborate with banking partners to link potential board members with client-referred director roles and work with Alumni services to integrate select alumni into the broader network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development and Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns with GIB business goals, optimizing the director network and intensifying relationships between directors and the bank.
- Team Development: Lead the creation and organization of the DAS Global Team to develop the network, monitor engagement, and execute the DAS Business Plan.
- Event Coordination & Delivery: Direct the planning and execution of unique and educational events to strengthen relationships within the Director community.
- Partnerships & Follow up Cultivate and maintain relationships with the director community and use technology to continuously assess the health of those relationships.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with stakeholders and clients to articulate the DAS strategy and enhance the JPM DAS brand both internally and externally.
Qualifications:

- Leadership and Transformation Skills: Proven leadership capabilities to guide global, diverse cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve transformative outcomes.
- Influence and Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional ability to influence and engage with internal stakeholders and external executives/directors, effectively building stronger relationships across the bank.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Experience working in a matrix organization, effectively partnering with various teams to ensure cohesive execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Internal Communication: Ability to engage directly with internal stakeholders, including the most senior levels of management, to clearly communicate the vision, progress, challenges, and strengthen client relationships.
- External Communication and Experience: Ability to engage with external Director or C-suite level clients with experience from prior roles in investment banking or from a top tier consulting firm.
