Job Summary:

As a Fund Servicing Associate ll within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our fund servicing operations. Leveraging your broad knowledge of fund accounting and administration, you will provide advice and support to ensure progress within established procedures and policies. Your work will have a significant impact on our department, requiring you to apply your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for varied and complex issues. Your advanced emotional intelligence will be key in building trusting relationships and influencing better outcomes for our team and clients. Your role will also involve planning and organizing your own work, and potentially that of a team, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation in our operating platform.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the oversight of all outsourced providers supporting the Fund Services business and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Irish Fund regulations.
  • Participate in and lead respective outsourcing governance meetings with global stakeholders across the outsourced footprints. Partner with regional LOBs and control officers to drive implementation of the outsourcing framework with ownership and responsibility of the end to end governance model.
  • Coordinate related Internal Audit and Compliance control reviews. Coordinate and lead ongoing due diligence of outsourced service providers.
  • Undertake periodic health checks to ensure ongoing adherence to outsourcing policies. Where appropriate, oversee remediation of issues. Manage implementation of Business Resiliency plans, partnering with regional Resiliency teams to ensure plan effectiveness and satisfaction of ongoing requirements around plan testing.
  • Ensure accurate universe of inter affiliate agreements, service level agreement, procedures, business resiliency plans, manage ongoing re-certification. Oversight of access permissions across the outsourced locations. Monitor industry and regulatory obligations on outsourcing and assesses the changing requirements with local outsourcing partner teams
  • Report and present to senior management, risk committees and the board. Regularly review and working to ensure the team is operating within an appropriate control environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skil

  • Knowledge of Irish and broader EMEA regulatory requirements around outsourcing
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically with respect to product and Board strategy. Ability to work proactively, independently and effectively within a global organisation
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines. Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build key relationships. High competency in working to strict deadlines on high focus projects and tasks. Experience managing a distributed operating model and constituent parts.
  • Demonstrate an ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Ability to make sound decisions, including escalation when appropriate. Risk, control and procedure orientated.
