Firmwide Planning and Analysis Business Management Vice President

Join our dynamic team that optimizes business performance and helps drive key initiatives, including headcount planning and forecasting, communications and engagement activities and overseeing control-related activities.

As a Business Manager in the Financial Analysis and Corporate Sector Finance & Business Management (CS F&BM) team, you will act as a trusted advisor to the head of Firmwide Planning & Analysis and Corporate Sector F&BM, as well as the leadership team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and deliver monthly reporting on headcount actuals and forecast; and provide insights and recommendations to the head of the group.
  • Manage position management process to ensure active positions are in alignment with budget.
  • Lead the budget process for the organization. Identify and recommend solutions related to HC, act as trusted advisor to the management team by providing insights and recommendations on HC, location strategy, organizational strategy and efficiency enhancements.
  • Partner with OCFO Finance team on the monthly review of comp and non-comp expenses.
  • Engage on transformation agenda efforts, driving adoption of P&A data models and consumption tools, and identifying opportunities to streamline our processes.
  • Prepare executive presentations and provide internal coordination on deliverables as well as ad-hoc project management support.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
  • 7 plus years of experience in Business Management or Planning and Analysis role
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
  • Present well to senior and global business heads
  • Ability to establish excellent internal relationships across a broad range of functions
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with logical thought process
