Financial Analysis, MIS - Vice President

The Firmwide Management Information System (MIS) team within Financial Analysis (FA) is dedicated to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of line of business segment results for actuals. MIS data supports both internal and external reporting requirements, serving key stakeholders such as Planning & Analysis (P&A), Treasury, Controllers, SEC, and Business Management.

As a Financial Analysis Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing data production, reporting, and project management. You will lead initiatives focused on problem-solving and delivering impactful results. Your responsibilities will include supporting modernization efforts, infrastructure enhancements, and process optimization. You will analyze, prepare, and reconcile complex accounting and technical data, collaborating closely with various lines of business to enhance data transparency and reporting quality. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to streamline operations and boost efficiency through automation and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support month-end financial processes, including preparing adjustments, performing reconciliations, and conducting ad-hoc analyses.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues by collaborating with relevant teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency through automation and process optimization.
  • Manage and report on key metrics, oversee project management activities, and contribute to the development of future reporting frameworks.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and drives productive problem-solving.
  • Simplify reporting processes and enhance transparency for stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams-including Finance, Controllers, and Technology-to implement and communicate reporting changes.

Skills

  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent experience
  • +8 years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced working experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels
