Global Banking Lending P&A Team is responsible for partnering across the Firm on a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), and advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies.

As a Senior Associate on the Global Banking Lending P&A Team you will be responsible for running business and financial analytics and reporting on an ongoing basis, including but not limited to internal executive management reporting (i.e. business reviews), quarterly earnings and investor day, monthly flash reporting (forecast) and budget overviews, along with various process improvements.

Job responsibilities:

  • Generate presentation materials and financial analytics for senior management for financial reporting meetings, quarterly business reviews, and budget overviews
  • Assist financial integration office in developing target booking model for Global Banking lending
  • Partner with client segment and business management teams to develop insightful reporting, focusing on drivers, and the "so what, now what?" dialogue
  • The Senior Associate will also have exposure to senior management and the opportunity to drive value-add change by helping to simplify processes, accelerate automation via AI, and enhance analytics and business support
  • Reporting on and monitoring key metrics, driving data quality initiatives across the product area, and helping define future needs of the product area
  • Performing variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and providing commentary to senior managers, explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets
  • Helping design new reports and presentations, driving additional insights in the lending portfolio

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or another quantitative/technical discipline
  • 3+ years of work experience in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot, with ability to build clear, executive-ready analyses and materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex topics into clear, actionable messaged for varied audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to execute special projects and ad-hoc requests in fast-paced environments, often with tight timelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience working with large datasets and synthesizing findings into concise conclusions and recommendations
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a track record of building credibility and trust with Business partners, Finance, and other key stakeholders
