Job Description

The Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) team is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of end-to-end processes supporting U.S. Regulatory Reporting. FRRA is part of office of the CFO organization.

This position is within the External Reporting Production team (part of FRRA) and will be focused on leading the teams involved in production processing and reporting activities including strategic initiatives for US Regulatory Reports i.e. FR Y-9C, Call Report & CCAR. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Be responsible for BAU activities spanning from data sourcing, data validation and completeness, adjustments processing and performing reconciliations
  • Work closely with line of business controllers, financial control and product controllers
  • Executing overall operating model, procedures for functional areas in the reporting space
  • Supporting business users of the FRI application with User queries, Issue Resolutions
  • Identify and execute process improvements to the existing operating model, tools and procedures
  • Interacting with Controllers, Report owners and RFT (Risk & Finance Technology) partners
  • Escalating issues as needed to the appropriate team(s) and management
  • Partnering with projects team through the full project life cycles impacting FRI
  • Supporting programs/initiatives for reporting automation and operating model optimization

This position requires strong interpersonal and partnership skills. The candidate will be required to work with a sense of urgency and be able to balance and prioritize numerous activities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)
  • 1 year of business, finance or accounting or industry experience
  • Understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, internal and external reporting, and variance analysis
  • Knowledge of Regulatory reporting and related requirements a plus
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously with tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organizational skills
  • High proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint; Alteryx a plus
