As an External Reporting Analyst within the Financial Reporting team, you will be responsible for preparing 10-Q/K reports in compliance with SEC regulations, ensuring accuracy and timelines. You will coordinate with business partners and consolidation teams to gather financial data and analyze results, work on quarterly earnings reports and probable 8-K filings, ensure proper internal controls and checks, and adhere to SEC guidelines and accounting standards. You will also identify process improvement opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for preparing 10-Q/K reports in compliance with SEC regulations, ensuring accuracy and timelines
- Should be able to coordinate with business partners and consolidation teams to gather financial data and analyze results
- You will also work on quarterly earnings report and probable 8-K filings
- Ensure proper internal controls and checks
- Adhere to SEC guidelines and accounting standards
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance with minimum 1 year of experience)
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance to be considered if having relevant experience
- Strong accounting fundamentals
- Stakeholder management
- Ability to work on projects
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of BI tools preferable Alteryx
