As a Vice President - Experience Research in the Global Banking Design team, you will shape user experiences across our products and services. You will develop and execute research strategies to uncover valuable insights into the wants, needs, and abilities of our clients and users. Your work will inform effective product and service designs across the firm. You will apply advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the effectiveness of our designs and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic UX research to identify opportunities and gaps across product areas
  • Plan and manage resources for research projects, aligning with product timelines and long-term goals
  • Advocate for user needs while considering business objectives and success metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather user insights and create testing scenarios
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations and drive product strategy
  • Suggest and implement improvements to research processes and operations
  • Mentor and guide junior researchers and designers, fostering continuous learning

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Interaction Design, UX Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Experience designing and executing complex research studies with an iterative approach
  • Ability to communicate research findings through artifacts and presentations
  • Deep understanding of Design Thinking methodology
  • Familiarity with UX research tools such as UserTesting and Dscout
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform product decisions
  • Familiarity with financial domain and terminology

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience in global financial services or banking environments
  • Proficiency in additional UX research platforms and analytics tools
  • Track record of driving innovation in large organizations
  • Experience presenting research to executive leadership
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful research outcomes
  • Ability to adapt research approaches to evolving business needs
