Employee Experience Communications, Vice President

Members of the Corporate & Firmwide Employee Communications team serve as trusted advisors to the firm's senior leaders and other communications managers about how to reinforce the firm's culture and keep employees informed about the firm's priorities and progress.

This role leads internal communications for the firm's Talent & Employee Experience (EX) organization. The EX team is responsible for creating firmwide technology and innovations to make the workplace more cohesive, frictionless and personalized.

As an Employee Experience Communications Vice President, you will serve as a communications advisor to the EX team, developing messaging strategies that translate complex employee experience initiatives into clear, employee-focused communications. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across EX product and employee success, marketing, HR, talent and other communications teams to accomplish goals as well as simplify key priorities and opportunities. You will lead and execute communications planning for high-visibility initiatives and major product launches, while also guiding editorial storytelling and executive communications.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive innovative communications strategies and impactful creative work for the Employee Experience organization
  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to leaders and peers, providing guidance on messaging, positioning and employee engagement strategy
  • Develop and execute integrated communications strategies aligned to business priorities and firmwide messaging
  • Support change management communications related to product messaging, adoption and usage strategies and programs
  • Guide communications planning for product roadmaps, product launches, feature enhancements and events
  • Shape editorial storytelling that highlights how EX are providing employees a better experience across web and mobile
  • Oversee high-visibility internal communications including organization announcements, strategic updates and employee campaigns
  • Partner with HR, Global Technology, Chief Administration Office and other Employee Experience communicators to ensure consistent and coordinated messaging across the firm
  • Lead communications for senior leader forums, town halls, site visits and employee engagement programming
  • Identify opportunities to work outside traditional communications channels/formats to amplify stories and reach audiences where they are

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications
  • In-depth knowledge of latest technology concepts, trends and innovations
  • Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environment, collaborating with product, change management, policy, marketing, analytics and legal teams
  • Proven writing and editorial skills with experience distilling complex technical details into easily understood information
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing impactful communications strategies, compelling storylines, and fostering collaborative relationships with senior leadership and peers
  • Expertise in distilling business objectives and target audiences, crafting creative and effective communications strategies that put the Employee Experience products top of mind for employees at all levels and across geographies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and enterprise communications platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
  • Strong judgment, executive presence, steadfast attention to detail and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced culture

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience in AI, technology and/or product communications or marketing
  • Understanding of consumer tech audiences and experience crafting narratives for them
  • A keen eye for creative output and ability to use creative applications, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Global digital and social platform experience (e.g. e-commerce, content, CRM, audience segmentation, performance marketing techniques) delivering a compelling product experience
  • Large, matrixed employer experience
