Emerging Middle Market Treasury Sales Group Head - Executive Director

As the Emerging Middle Market Treasury Sales Head for the Commercial Bank Core Sector, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of sales, market, and product strategies aimed at growing our existing client base wallet share and the acquisition of new clients to the firm. Leveraging your strong leadership skills, you will also be responsible for establishing robust alliances with Bankers, Client Service, Product Leadership (Core Cash, Card, and Commerce Solutions), and Implementation teams. Your responsibilities will include fostering and preserving trusted advisor relationships within Commercial Banking and Payments. A crucial part of your role will involve leading the Emerging Middle Market Payments Segment Leads, mentoring the Treasury Management Officers and Treasury Sales Associates, ensuring an outstanding client experience while managing risk and providing appropriate guidance to the team.
Job responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, lead, coach, and motivate the Sales Leads and teams.
- Develop and oversee the Emerging Middle Market Treasury Sales strategy, including budget, sales goals, and P&L.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness relative to key metric performance and goals.
- Work with Commercial Bank leadership to formulate and execute market strategy for Treasury Solutions.
- Develop segment-wide strategies across product sets to drive growth.
- Develop programs to cultivate prospect relationships of regional/national scope.
- Engage in a disciplined marketing process and quality call activities.
- Manage customer expectations by communicating upfront timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure strong client coverage to ensure a successful implementation and client experience of Treasury Solutions.
- Protect the firm by applying sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 15+ years' experience in Treasury Services, Financial Services, or related business experience.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Experience in managing geographically distributed teams and managing managers.
- Deep understanding and direct background of client trends in liquidity, payments, working capital, risk management, and Treasury technology, and ability to distill for mass consumption and direct business impact.
- Sales management in an outside business-to-business sales environment with a documented track record of success/top performance.
- Strong understanding of the Commercial Bank treasury market.
- Strong coaching, motivation, and leadership skills; ability to network, recruit, train, develop, and promote field sales managers.
- Ability to develop, drive, and articulate strategy and vision for the team and lead a sales force.
- Ability to measure key performance metrics and drive the organization accordingly.
- Sense of urgency and ability to manage and direct staff and deliver all facets of performance management (coaching, career mobility, reviews, action plans, etc.).
