Email Content Development and Performance Lead-Commercial & Investment Bank
The Email CoE is a matrixed organization responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of global email campaigns for the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), which includes Global Banking, Markets, Payments, Sales and Research, Securities Services, and Digital and Platform Services. You will own the end-to-end process for content strategy, development, and performance reporting for the Email CoE, while managing a team of content creators to ensure the delivery of compelling, client-centric communications that drive engagement, retention, and acquisition.
As an Email Content Development and Performance Lead within Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), you will collaborate with cross-functional partners-including Analytics, Insights, Martech, Product, and Regional Marketing-to ensure content is aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. You will elevate the work with your strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and keen editorial eye.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy for the email channel within CIB Integrated Marketing, covering marketing, servicing, nurture flows, and acquisition campaigns.
- Manage and mentor a team responsible for content creation, editorial planning, and performance reporting.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, personalized content that aligns with business objectives and enhances the client experience.
- Develop and optimize reporting frameworks to measure content effectiveness, campaign performance, and business impact.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure content meets legal, regulatory, and brand standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging data, industry trends, and competitive insights to inform content and reporting strategies.
- Present performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and strategic direction.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on innovation, accountability, and results.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in content development, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing content strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, client-friendly language.
- Strong experience in reporting, analytics, and performance measurement for marketing campaigns.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, personalization, and audience segmentation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Adobe Workfront, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in a managerial role.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with marketing automation and content optimization tools (e.g., Marketo, Movable Ink, Persado).
