Data Scientist [Multiple Positions Available]

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Collect and analyze customer, marketing, and web behavioral data. Test campaigns by analyzing key metrics and identifying opportunities to increase campaign performance. Determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by analyzing page clicks, keyword hits, search engine traffic, and other data. Monitor and analyze digital media and marketing trends. Develop and present learnings from analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations. Develop digital campaign and web measurement strategies. Create dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign and website performance reports. Drive execution of KPIs, trend analysis, dashboards and analyses including segmentations, optimizations and other techniques to improve business function performance. Collaborate with business owners to formulate quantifiable goals, as well as advise on strategies and experimentation to achieve business goals. Advocate for domain specific data needed to monitor performance, targeting and execution, and other analytical support for business goals. Collaborate across functions and lines of business to drive analytics, insights and program execution. Improve and assess processes and controls in support of business results. Partner with modeling and list execution teams as needed. Coach junior team members in campaign analysis methods and approaches. Build relationships with clients. Communicate and present data to colleagues, senior managers, and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Lead/Sr. Associate Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: coding for data extraction from large data platforms such as Snowflake or AWS, transformation of data into meaningful statistics, publishing of data-based insights into reporting applications; auditing code developed with data analysis languages including SQL and Python, R or SAS applicable coding languages; dynamic and interactive reporting applications including Tableau and Adobe Analytics; Big Data platforms and related technologies including Snowflake or AWS; articulating analytical findings in clear and concise deliverables, including presentations, discussions, and visualizations to senior leadership. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: acquisition marketing overall and audience targeting; creating business strategies, providing strategic insights, and tactical implementation; analyzing data by measuring impressions, interactions and conversions within digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms; analyzing data by measuring incremental impacts from marketing investment within media and events marketing platforms including upper and lower funnel marketing performance metrics.
