Data Owner [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Create plans for development and delivery of product data to support strategic business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics, metrics and reporting. Ensure critical data within the assigned products, is well-documented as to its meaning and purpose, and classified accordingly with metadata to enable its understanding and control. Provide work product with business and agile technology teams to establish robust and scalable cloud-based data solutions, modernize infrastructure, and enable self-service analytics platforms. Document requirements for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data within the product, and coordinate resources to deliver data quality requirements. Document processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks for data in the product, including risks related to data protection, data retention and destruction, data storage, data use, and data quality. Read entity diagrams and ensure alignment with design specifications to achieve desired outcomes in data design and architecture. Execute assigned duties to comply with Firm wide policies, standards, and procedures related to the integrity and protection of data in the product.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Data Owner, Data/Risk Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires one (1) year of experience in the following: Analyzing data in different database technologies including Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, and AWS EMR; Data management and governance processes in the financial industry; Performing data manipulation, data structuring, data design flow and query optimization using programming language including SQL and Python; Designing and developing interactive Excel and PowerPoint reports with functionalities including lookup, index match, data analysis add-ons, pivots, VBA and VBScript; Performing quantitative analysis.
