Job summary
As a Sr. Associate, Data Management at JPMorganChase within the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO), you will serve as a seasoned member of a high performing team responsible for carrying out critical and timely document reviews and updates across all areas within CDAO, focusing on Data Governance, Data Management, Privacy, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. You will also lead the creation and publication of new firmwide governing documents-standards, procedures, and frameworks-that define governance processes supporting legal and regulatory requirements. You will partner with Lines of Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions (CFs) stakeholders as a subject matter expert on the firmwide Data Risk Management Policy/Standard requirements.
Job responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the firmwide Data Risk Management Standard
- Partner closely with LOB/CF stakeholders to drive compliance with the firm's Data Risk Management Policy and Standard requirements
- Leverage new and emerging AI/ML technology to improve document creation, quality checks, and document governance efficiency , while adhering to responsible AI/ML practices, privacy, and control requirements
- Manage CDAO governing documents, including review with stakeholders during annual / off-cycle refresh cycles, with a focus on Data Governance and Data Risk Management
- Represent the Document Governance team in CDO forums as a subject matter expert; advise on document governance expectations aligned with the Office of Document Governance (ODG) and end-to-end CDAO document lifecycle process
- Coordinate forums by developing meeting materials and soliciting agenda items from stakeholders within Firmwide Chief Data Office (FCDO)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training and/or certification on Document Governance and 3+ years applied experience
- Strong command of English grammar and style to produce high-quality documentation for diverse audiences
- Expertise in communication, project management, process design, and business analysis; skilled at translating technical and risk requirements into clear, usable content
- Self-starter; able to work autonomously with discipline
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on time with high quality
- Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable with partnering with people at all levels and across all functional areas (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Controls, Technology, and Business Operations)
- Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with varied stakeholders and audiences
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Familiar in implementing policies, standards, procedures, or guidance documents to be used by a wide range of users
- Familiar with Data Governance, Data Risk Management, and/or AI/ML
- Understanding of risk management and governance principles
