Credit Risk - Structured Finance - Associate

You will join the Risk function, providing credible challenge as a second line of defense to keep the firm strong and resilient. The Wholesale Credit Risk team oversees credit risk for Investment Bank clients and the firm's wholesale credit portfolio.

As an Associate within the APAC & EMEA Structured Finance Team, you will play a key role in evaluating, underwriting, and monitoring a diverse portfolio in Asset-Backed markets, including Public ABS, Private Asset Back Financing, conduits, and other SPVs. You will partner with Securitized Products, Corporate and Investment Bankers, Treasury Services, and Traders to analyze, structure, risk grade, and approve credit exposures. You will work closely with clients and internal partners to assess creditworthiness, structure financing solutions, and execute transactions, while mentoring junior team members and driving process improvements.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead financial analysis, identify key risks, and challenge analyst recommendations
  • Apply deep product knowledge and relevant policies to complex transactions
  • Use AI tools to enhance analysis and efficiency
  • Proactively manage portfolios and drive end-to-end credit processes
  • Communicate clearly through emails, memos, and presentations for senior audiences
  • Collaborate across teams and participate to meetings with stakeholders and clients
  • Uphold professionalism, ethics, and a positive team culture
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to projects and initiatives

  • Solid credit/underwriting experience and strong analytical skills
  • Advanced modeling and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
