About the team

Credit Risk Middle Office (CRMO) is a part of the Reporting, Middle Office and Controls organization in the Corporate Risk Management Function. The team supports the global Wholesale Credit Risk organization with a primary focus on onboarding and offboarding, exposure limit breach monitoring and investigation, rules-based fund processing, credit facility amendments, and credit reference data maintenance. The team is organized by line of business and regional portfolios across Asian and European countries, partnering closely with Credit Risk and operational teams.

This Associate role focuses on supporting the Wholesale Credit Risk organization with responsibility for day-to-day execution of core credit risk middle office processes. You will partner with credit risk and operations stakeholders to maintain a strong control environment, support timely issue identification and escalation, and advance process improvements leveraging Intelligent Solutions / AI ML tools where appropriate.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Credit Risk Management by performing key functions including credit limit set up and maintenance, client data management, limit breach monitoring and investigation, and Net Asset Value gathering.
  • Communicate and present effectively, partnering with stakeholders across Credit Risk, Technology, Product and Operations.
  • Maintain a strong control mindset by analyzing processes, identifying control breaks, investigating root causes, and supporting sustainable remediation.
  • Drive timely SLA performance by monitoring execution across various processes, identifying emerging trends and issues, and escalating as appropriate.
  • Enhance operating procedures to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency, leveraging intelligent solutions tools such as Alteryx and Tableau where appropriate.
  • Partner with the Wholesale Credit Risk Product group to deliver a multi‑year roadmap enhancing the operating model and systems used to onboard, risk grade, and maintain asset management clients over time.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years' experience in financial services, operations, or a related field.
  • Ability to identify problems and collaborate across teams to identify or develop solutions that improve outcomes and controls.
  • Contributed to initiatives that helped drive measurable improvements and positive outcomes.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Previous experience in risk management, operations or control function.
  • Experience with automation and intelligent solutions such as Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience in a relevant risk, control, or operational discipline.
