Corporate Treasury - Intelligent Solutions Vice President

As a Vice President within the Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO) Operations team at JPMorganChase, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering the Intelligent Solutions (IS) book of work that supports firmwide asset and liability management. You will lead a small, high-performing team to prioritize and execute an outcomes-focused portfolio, partnering across Lines of Business and core TCIO functions to enhance operational effectiveness, strengthen controls, and enable data-driven decisioning at the center of the firm.

You will be responsible for end-to-end program ownership of the IS roadmap for TCIO Operations, including intake and prioritization, delivery governance, stakeholder alignment, and measurable value realization. The role involves close coordination with technology, product, risk, and finance partners to modernize processes, improve scalability and resiliency, and ensure the balance sheet implications of TCIO activities are well-supported operationally. Core responsibilities include building and maintaining execution dashboards, establishing clear KPIs and OKRs, providing transparent weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting, and advising senior TCIO leaders on opportunities to optimize efficiency, controls, and client outcomes.

Our TCIO Operations team manages a diverse portfolio spanning workflow digitization, data quality and lineage, analytics enablement, and control automation. You will drive the development of new reporting capabilities and tooling, ensure disciplined financial and delivery oversight across the IS book, and guide your team to consistently deliver on-time, on-budget, and to standard-directly influencing the firm's balance sheet operations and supporting TCIO's mission at global scale.

Job responsibilities

  • Design and build solutions utilizing the Firm's full IS toolset including Python, Alteryx, Pega, & Tableau in the most expedited and controlled way while ensuring compliance with Firm IS policies and change management standards.
  • Incorporate Generative AI in the design and development for new and existing projects. Migrate and build solutions in Cloud based environments such as Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Wear many hats during the life cycle of an IA solution including project manager, business analyst and solution developer. This will also include working with business stakeholders to understand their processes to ensure the solution meets the strategic needs of the business overall.
  • Work with other IA teams across the firm and TCIO's core Technology team to leverage all ideas and best practices to ensure the most efficient solution is built and in the most expedited way. This includes the design of flexible solutions that can be recycled across the Firm to solve common business problems and that integrate efficiently into the existing business architecture.
  • Document solutions so they can be easily supported and configured as needed by business process owners after development is completed.
  • Monitor execution of all IS tools and produce associated analytics and MIS to be shared with leadership as part of recurring reviews.
  • Manage and develop a small staff including training, performance reviews and talent development.
  • Become an expert in data management and analysis while improving their technical and programming skills with analytical and intelligent solution tools utilized in the industry.
  • Utilize cutting edge third party and generative AI toolsets as part of their day to day. Improve their understanding of asset and liability management principles for a large financial institution with a balance sheet in excess of 2.5 trillion.
  • Develop a good understanding of the key risk measures used by a financial institution to manage balance sheet risk.
  • Stay connected to changes in the industry and the regulatory landscape. Interact with senior executives and external regulators on a periodic basis as part of ad hoc analysis requests.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Degree in a Technological, Data Science or Finance related field and at least 7 years' experience working in a financial oriented role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python with advanced proficiency in SQL for performing data analysis.
  • Previous experience using Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Previous experience developing solutions incorporating Gen AI.
  • > 4 years' experience developing process improvement solutions.
  • Prior project management experience including planning and managing a project end to end.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, critical thinking, investigative problem-solving and decision making talents.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multitask, and bring tasks to complete closure.
  • Organized and able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare executive level presentations.

  • Ability to work across teams and drive initiatives forward.
  • Previous experience managing and developing a team.
