As a Control Manager within JPMorgan Chase, you will lead Quality Assurance (QA) over 1LOD processes within Markets Sales & Trading, focusing on the supervisory framework that defines roles and responsibilities of Front Office Sales & Trading managers. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious associate to be involved in providing quality assurance to senior stakeholders for the Markets businesses. You will be responsible for planning and execution of the QA activities, including creation of test scripts, oversight and mentoring of our offshore colleagues, completing analysis of results. You will also be responsible for monitoring and tracking findings through to resolution. This role provides opportunities to work with stakeholders across functions and at all levels throughout the organisation and will provide the opportunity to present at senior forums as delegate for the QA Program Owner.
Job responsibilities
- Plan and execute quarterly markets BCM assurance activities.
- Partner with the QA Program Owner to review scope and update relevant documentation for approval.
- Manage objectives, scope, sampling methodology, scoring methodology, quality thresholds, QA results reporting, tracking of corrective actions, and record retention.
- Execute testing pre-work and analyze results, oversee findings reports with suggested actions.
- Act as the oversight contact for the offshore QA team and handle escalations.
- Conduct interviews during the QA cycle and create presentations of results for different audiences.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of Markets Sales or Trading business
- Experience in the financial services industry with a background in audit, assurance, controls, operational risk management, compliance or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business-related function/operation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required, with data analytics preferred using Excel, Alteryx or Python
- Markets Trading and Sales Business knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders meaningfully and actionably.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Independent decision-making using sound judgment.
- Solid critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills; able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions.
- Implementation skills.
