As a Content Operations Vice President within the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Content team you will run the operations behind the delivery of news and educational content for our clients and the general public. In addition, you will partner closely with the Editorial lead to establish and manage the workflows and processes behind the written content, operating as the engine behind the written content that Editorial creates. You will manage a team of associates and ensure successful project management and distribution of our most timely and successful content through various channels including digital, SEO, email, newsletters, advisor communications. Our team is at the center of communicating during major market events, and your role will be critical to ensuring our clients, potential clients and employees have the timely and relevant information they need.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage the distribution of multi-media content; including web-based articles, emails, newsletters, etc.


  • Lead the editorial calendar, manage content distribution priorities, and resolve bottlenecks.


  • Support the editorial lifecycle from end-to-end from a process and controls perspective.


  • Translate content strategy into operational roadmaps, capacity plans, prioritization, and SLAs for requests.


  • Partner closely and build relationships with an array of cross-functional stakeholders including content creators and strategists, marketers, product managers, tech experts and communicators around the company to deliver content at high velocity with fast turnaround times.


  • Manage content workflow and approval processes with various stakeholders to deliver on team priorities.


  • Map and optimize end‑to‑end workflows from brief to publish to archive; standardize briefs, templates, and checklists. Implement RACI models; define who does what at each stage.


  • Oversee a team that will ensure published or distributed content is up-to-date, accurate and delivered in a timely fashion. Develop the team to perform at their highest level.


  • Partner with legal, compliance and controls stakeholders to ensure content needs are meeting various legal and regulatory obligations
  • Balance multiple strategic projects and execute on tight deadlines.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:



  • 8+ years of experience working in communications, journalism, business news media or marketing. At least 3 years of experience managing a team; Bachelor's or Master's Degree


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).


  • Impeccable project management skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask and work well across a matrixed organization. Mixed with a want to roll up your sleeves and handle several execution tasks on your own.


  • A process savant who enjoys bringing order to systems and leads more efficient use of resources to deliver content and experiences at speed.


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.


  • Sound judgment and keen awareness to identify and flag potential risks.


  • Ability to understand and use data and metrics to make decisions and explain content effectiveness.


  • Customer-first thinking. Ability to work collaboratively and partner with others.


  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence. Over indexes toward action.


  • Genuine interest in the world of financial markets and personal finance.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge of Monday.com, Airtable, or Asana. Familiarity with CMS such as AEM
