Communications Senior Associate

Among these are intranet sites, the employee newspaper, digital signage and video, email messages, internal exhibits, learning sessions, and large and small employee meetings.

As a Communications Senior Associate within the Global Technology Communications team, you will support executive communications for senior leaders across the Chief Technology Office, Employee Platforms, Infrastructure Platforms and the Global Technology Chief Operating Office at JPMorganChase. As a strong writer and editor who can translate complex technology and business priorities into clear, engaging content for technical and business audiences, you will help deliver leadership messaging, employee communications and key events in a fast-paced environment. As a member of the Global Technology (GT) Communications team, you will assist with the day-to-day development and delivery of executive communications for senior leaders across Global Technology, working independently, with guidance, to help ensure priorities, progress and decisions are clearly and consistently communicated.

Job responsibilities

  • Write targeted communications including executive messages, strategic business updates, technology and innovation success stories, people-related communications, organization announcements, as well as other timely business messages.
  • Help organize and execute key employee and senior leadership meetings, including town halls, small group sessions and site visits as needed.
  • Source, develop and deliver a steady and compelling communications content pipeline for employees (via intranet, email, collateral, video, town halls, social media, etc.) consistent with objectives related to Global Technology's strategy and objectives.
  • Maintain intranet content and design, and create communications-related graphics as needed: including presentations, web collateral, newsletters etc.
  • Track and analyze metrics to refine and improve ongoing tactics and/or to identify opportunities to implement new communications methodologies across clients.
  • Design, develop and execute robust communication strategies for Global Technology's marquee events like DEVUP and GT Senior Leadership Conference as well as strategic programs and initiatives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3+ years of professional experience, including extensive hands-on writing, editing, project management, and presentation building
  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree and/or equivalent years of experience
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communications
  • Organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines
  • A creative and innovative thinker
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with peers and other functional groups across the company
  • High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and takes accountability and accepts responsibility
  • A team player who regularly seeks to learn from key partners and share best practices. A willingness to offer and ask for help as needed
  • Experience with Intranet design, other design software, content development, and collaboration and measurement tools
  • Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
