As a Vice President, you will lead financial management and headcount oversight for groups within Securities Services Operations. This role partners closely with the broader Securities Services Operations Finance team and select senior leaders across Securities Services Operations to deliver disciplined expense management, actionable insights, and strong controls.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly business reviews, with clear insight into key drivers and variances against plan.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycle, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities.
  • Own the month-end close process, including coordination of accruals with Controllers, and identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality variance analysis and walk-forwards (expense and headcount), clearly linked to business drivers.
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across Finance and Operations, building trusted, value-add relationships.
  • Track and manage headcount and productivity metrics, including location strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Oversee and validate allocation methodologies, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment to business activity.
  • Collaborate with Product F&BM to manage outgoing allocations and cost attribution.
  • Review and challenge investment initiatives, ensuring alignment of technology and AI spend to delivery of multi-year efficiencies.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive initiatives to improve operating leverage; Implement and enhance controls, governance, and reporting best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • 8+ years' experience in Finance, FP&A, or Business Management, including people leadership.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence, with confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, strong process discipline, and ability to operate with urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management across functions.
  • Sound judgment, integrity, and a proactive, results-driven approach, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to continuously develop digital capabilities.
