CIB - Payments - Trade Sales - Associate
Trade & Working Capital ("TWC") is a critical element of a complete Corporate & Investment Bank ("CIB") client relationship, and a key driver of our international growth strategy. We provide a full suite of core trade and structured products to our corporate client base. Trade solutions include Supply Chain Finance, Export / ECA Finance, Trade Loans, Receivables Finance and Inventory Finance, Commercial Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, and Guarantees.
As Trade Sales representative, you will take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of clients and bankers, responsible for TWC business development, management of client strategies, origination of profitable business in line with those strategies, client advisory, portfolio management, and issue resolution. You will collaborate closely with bankers, Credit, Operations, Trade product and various internal business partners across Lines of Business to deliver best-in-class solutions.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities
- Support the corporate sales team to deliver business target
- Lead sales and origination efforts for trade for assigned portfolio.
- Identify, qualify and win opportunities
- Negotiate and close complex sales of trade or cross-product solutions
- Develop robust calling effort across client portfolio, maintaining account plans in partnership with banking coverage teams
- Maintain a well-balanced pipeline across the full Trade product suite
- Partner with bankers and product specialists to design and deliver tailored global Trade, international, and cross product solutions for corporate clients
- Maintain close communications with onshore and regional Trade partners in overseas markets, staying up-to-date knowledge of market and product developments
- Take end-to-end ownership to ensure a seamless Trade experience for clients and bankers
- Develop and execute client strategies in close coordination with Bankers, product specialist
- Identify potential issues and process inefficiencies and escalate accordingly within the Risk and Control framework;
- Represent JPMC's TWC capabilities at internal and external events
- Provide input into product development, marketing, and other strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 Years of banking experience with solid Trade product knowledge and Credit expertise
- Strong knowledge of core trade Services e.g., Bank Acceptance Draft Discounting, Import and Export Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantee
- Proven understanding of structured trade solutions e.g., Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Inventory Finance
- Independent, self-motivated, high energy, able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated excellence in sales and negotiation
- Excellent communication skills with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Confident public speaker; capable of effectively presenting complex material to both large and small audience
- Proven ability to establish, develop, and manage relationships with senior executives. Ability to understand and manage the business and personal factors that influence decision making.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel as needed
