As a managing Vice President within the Reporting & Analysis team, you will manage the FR Y-14A reporting series which collects detailed firms' financials and metrics under different stress scenarios. Financials collected is utilized by Supervisory agencies to assist in determining the Firm's capital adequacy and profitability.

This role is a senior level role who will be responsible for leading a team and executing overall end-to-end production, analysis and change management of capital stress testing reports and few associated narratives (supplementary information and data) submitted to FRB and OCC. You will closely partner with colleagues across Capital Management and Stress Testing, Corporate Finance, Line of Businesses, and Risk functions. You will need to leverage excellent communication and analytical skills, solid understanding of financials and their drivers to deliver results.

The FRRA CCAR Y-14A Vice President role will have responsibilities as follows: lead and coordinate multiple aspects of FR Y 14A reporting process, and internal quarterly capital stress testing and risk appetite reporting processes. The reporting process activities include but not limited to : Consolidating and analyzing the consolidated stress testing results, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Capital and Risk weighted assets (RWA) and present the key metrics to senior management, Board of Directors and regulatory agencies, and Understanding the regulatory reporting requirements and the associated complex financial/accounting calculations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting control and governance framework
  • Participate in testing and change management implementation of the relevant technology (W-Desk, Internal Aggregation\consolidation system, Tableau, Axiom, Anaplan etc.) associated with the regulatory reporting. Co-ordinate with technology team to build required technology expertise for self and for their team. Oversee the review and maintenance of the regulatory reporting requirement's calculation rules\logics within the technology solutions in partnership with technology teams.
  • Communicate new regulatory requirements to all the stakeholders and lead requirement clarification conversations with FRRA Policy team and Corporate Capital Stress Testing (CCST) team
  • Ensure timely execution of ad-hoc requests from senior management, audit, other functions, and regulatory agencies
  • Preparing and reviewing supporting documentation on processes, methodologies, and the control environment
  • Establishing and managing relationships, partnerships, and dialogue with a variety of stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years in a banking organization with exposure to regulatory reporting, financial statements analysis, and financial products.
  • Experience in either of Regulatory Reporting, Planning & Analysis (Line of Business/Firmwide P&A), Product Controller, and Legal Entity controller
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large quantities of financial data to pull trends and insights, and identify any anomalies
  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal and partnership building skills- for effective communications with stakeholders, senior management and regulatory agencies
  • Strong technical skills and agility to learn new technology. Experience using Microsoft Office Application Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multi-task and be hands on in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong sense of control and governance (ability to identify and close control gaps and/or issues)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence solutions (Example: Alteryx, Tableau) and regulatory reporting solutions (Example: Anaplan, Axiom) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CCAR, Regulatory Capital and RWA is an advantage
