Job Description
The Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO) business within JPMorgan is responsible for firm wide asset and liability management for one of the world's largest global financial institutions. Because it sits at the very center of the firm, TCIO directly influences the composition of the firm's balance sheet as well as the activities of the firm's four main lines of business (LOBs): Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, and Consumer & Community Banking.
As a member of the Capital Product team within our Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO) business, you will play a pivotal role in supporting firmwide asset and liability management for one of the world's largest financial institutions. Each day, you will define, refine, and deliver set goals by maintaining the infrastructure for capital calculation and reporting, and supporting capital-related disclosures. You will collaborate closely with Technology, Capital Management, Capital Production, and our main lines of business to implement regulatory changes and develop new reporting and analytics applications that drive the firm's key priorities.

Job responsibilities
- Maintain regional capital platform in line with business and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate across functional and technology teams to draft and finalize requirements and execute project plan to completion, ensuring high quality delivery
- Prepare detailed test cases along with expected results and success criteria
- Perform Functional and User Acceptance Testing and ensure issues identified are resolved prior to project go-live
- Track progress on key milestones and highlight key risks, issues and dependencies on specific items
- Ensure adherence to a challenging delivery schedule in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Prior experience and as Business Analyst with working knowledge of regulatory capital rules
- Experience driving large and complex initiatives across multiple functional groups in a high demand environment
- Self-starter with ability to independently manage own work across initiatives
- Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities or issues
- Experience with data structures, systems, and large and complex datasets
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in MS Office product suite
- Knowledge of Basel III Finalization rules
- Ability to query large datasets using SQL, Python, Alteryx etc.
- An understanding of key Data Governance and Principals
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrate prior experience as a Business Analyst with working knowledge of regulatory capital rules.
- Drive large and complex initiatives across multiple functional groups in a high-demand environment.
- Initiate work independently as a self-starter, managing own tasks across various initiatives.
- Multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities or issues.
- Utilize experience with data structures, systems, and large, complex datasets.
- Solve problems using strong analytical skills.
- Communicate effectively with excellent oral and written skills, and proficiency in the MS Office product suite.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Apply knowledge of Basel III Finalization rules.
- Query large datasets using SQL, Python, Alteryx, and similar tools.
- Understand and apply key Data Governance principles.
