As a Process Improvement Associate I within the Collateral Management team, you will work directly with data and information, creating meaningful analyses, reports, and presentations to support the pledging operation. You will support the preparation and submission of loan collateral files to Federal Home Loan Banks and the Federal Reserve Bank. In this role, you will collaborate with team members to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job responsibilities:
- Follow documented procedures to prepare files for review and submission to Federal Home Loan Banks and the Federal Reserve Bank
- Suggest and implement improvements to procedures
- Perform data analysis on the portfolio of loan collateral
- Gather and review documents, data, and supporting evidence for collateral reviews, audits, and control testing
- Test eligibility rule changes to ensure proper implementation
- Build and execute SQL queries and Alteryx workflows
- Compile and analyze data reporting across multiple systems
- Support application testing and process improvement initiatives
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Three years of experience with data analysis or loan collateral management
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Tableau, and SQL
- Experience with Alteryx workflows
- Strong organizational skills to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to create decks for team presentations
- Experience with mortgage industry business processes and procedures
- Prior experience working with controls and audits
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience supporting regulatory submissions to Federal Home Loan Banks or the Federal Reserve Bank
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
