As the Data Management Lead - Privacy, Protection and Use within the Chief Administrative Office, you are responsible for facilitating compliance within your assigned data domain and supporting Data Owners, while developing and continuously improving data governance practices focused on privacy, protection, and responsible use. You serve as the Privacy Champion, overseeing function-aligned data products for reporting and analytics, maintaining data quality, and tracking firmwide compliance metrics to assess governance effectiveness. Your success is measured by your ability to ensure compliance with firmwide metrics, deliver high-quality data solutions, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.

Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data privacy, protection, and use governance frameworks and policies; oversee access management for regulatory compliance.
- Prepare management reports for senior leadership and monitor business data changes impacting privacy and compliance.
- Lead and support data governance projects, collaborate on data storage and localisation, and manage data use case registration and privacy assessments.
- Handle subject access requests, develop data contracts, and help standardize legacy data consumption with reusable products.
- Define target consumption patterns, quality rules, and alternative data options for data products.
- Contribute to data product delivery by supporting data sourcing, curation, catalog discoverability, and adherence to firmwide standards.
- Ensure data product reliability, manage data changes, provide user support, and monitor usage patterns.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 7+ years in Financial Services with expertise in data privacy, protection, and regulatory requirements.
- STEM undergraduate degree; business graduate degree.
- Deep knowledge of Privacy, Protection, and Use data domains.
- Experience building data pipelines and assets for AI/BI.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills; effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks for timely completion.
- Analytical and investigative mindset with advanced problem-solving and data mining skills.
