As a Business Strategy & Management Lead - Executive Director in the Markets Asset Services (MAS) & Securities Post Trade Controls & Analytics (SPTC) team, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Global Head of Markets Asset Services and Securities Post Trade Controls & Analytics, driving organization effectiveness, fostering alignment on financial targets, and advancing strategic initiatives through a centralized and transparent framework.

MAS is a global team operating in 9 cities, providing asset servicing support for Markets and Wealth Management, covering corporate actions, income processing, dividend reinvestments, proxy, and class actions with emphasis on risk, control, process efficiency, and first class client service. MAS is undergoing significant transformation, marked by increased investment in technology and operations to enable scalable growth, enhance process sustainability, and reinforce controls in support of ongoing business expansion. Securities Post Trade Controls & Analytics is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the integrity of post-trade activities for Securities Operations. The team ensures that all trade settlements, reconciliation and asset servicing activities adheres to regulatory and internal standards. Leveraging data and analytics, the team monitors operational risks, identifies process inefficiencies, and provides actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the Global Head of Markets Asset Services and Securities Post Trade Controls & Analytics in developing and executing business strategies, ensuring alignment across teams and functions.
  • Lead and oversee critical projects and initiatives, ranging from operational efficiency, resourcing strategy, change management, leadership off-sites, and annual planning.
  • Build strong credibility with senior leaders, preparing presentations, reports, and communications.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  • Foster collaboration across departments, ensuring information flow and alignment on priorities.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Significant experience in business management, change management, consulting, or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Assimilates broad-ranging information quickly and able to distil into key points.
  • Ability to influence outcomes, even where no direct line management responsibility exists.
  • Proven track record in project management and strategic planning.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
