Business Operations Manager, Commercial Term Lending - Commercial Real Estate Banking - Vice President

You are experienced in process improvement, business transformation, and change management. A role as a Business Operations Manager making meaningful change in an industry-leading Commercial Real Estate department is for you.

As a Business Operations Manager in Commercial Real Estate, you will lead strategic change, including operating model, process, technology, product and risk/controls. You will become a business subject matter expert who partners across all functional areas to develop a best in class client and employee experience.

Job responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic change across Commercial Real Estate by leading cross-functional teams
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Work with Technology and Product teams to prioritize and deliver projects and process re-engineering efforts to deliver operational excellence
  • Partner with Sales, Credit Risk, Payments and middle office on process design and execution
  • Help determine changes to roles and responsibilities as technology, business process and operating models evolve
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Five plus years of project management experience with emphasis on process re-engineering and business transformation
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Proven track record of leading successful projects and initiatives
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Pitch Pro

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • In depth understanding of Commercial Real Estate operations and market dynamics
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively; develop strong partnership with multiple levels of employees
  • Leadership experience in managing diverse teams and driving organizational change
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret and present complex data
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; MBA is advantageous

FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT:

This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMorgan Chase's review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries.

The final title and job grade is at the discretion of the firm and will be discussed at the time of offer. It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on candidate experience level.
