Banker [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment options and/or financial data for high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and families in the Latin America (LATAM) region, and use resulting analyses to provide personalized financial advice and wealth management strategies tailored to LATAM clients' goals and risk tolerance. Analyze market trends and economic conditions to recommend investment opportunities to HNW clients in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, monitoring market fluctuations and adjusting investment strategies accordingly, and use insights to inform strategic decision-making and client advisory. Propose/present and explain in Spanish a range of banking products and services, including loans, credit facilities, and investment products, ensuring all banking products and activities comply with local and international regulations and standards. Manage clients' investment portfolios, including asset allocation and diversification strategies. Prepare detailed reports in Spanish on client portfolios, market analysis, and performance metrics, and maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions and transactions. Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and partners. Use the Spanish language to develop and maintain commercial relationships, and conduct regular reviews of clients' portfolios to ensure alignment with their financial objectives. Use the Spanish language to identify and pursue new business opportunities that expand the client base. Conduct research on economic trends, market developments, and competitor activities in the LATAM region. Evaluate clients' risk profiles and develop strategies to mitigate potential financial risks. Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to deliver comprehensive banking solutions. Lead team projects aimed at improving service delivery and client satisfaction. This position requires up to 15% domestic travel and 15% international travel to Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay to visit various client sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Investment Banking Associate/Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Investment Banking Associate/Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: using and interpreting advanced Excel functionalities to conduct quantitative financial analysis for banking clients, including generating detailed interactive financial reports and creating financial models that forecast investment performance and cash flow projections; using Powerpoint to create professional presentations that communicate complex financial information to clients, including investment strategies, financial plans, and market trends; and using FactSet to deliver precise data-driven advice and to manage complex investment portfolios. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills: analyzing client portfolios, assessing investment opportunities, and performing risk assessments; U.S. and Latin America (LATAM) financial markets; advising clients in the LATAM region on investment principles and strategies; diversifying asset allocation; assessing financial risks; analyzing complex financial situations; conducting investment portfolio reviews and evaluating investment opportunities; anticipating clients' financial needs, addressing clients' financial inquiries, and delivering tailored financial solutions; client acquisition and retention, specifically by using local networks in LATAM countries to access potential clients and referral sources; identifying opportunities within LATAM market countries in to prospect potential clients; using local LATAM professional networks to research regional economic conditions, capital market trends, and investment opportunities so as to tailor financial needs for each client; and maintaining services for existing client base. This position requires knowledge of the following skills: banking products, credit facilities, trust services, estate planning, and tax planning; Latin America (LATAM) markets, economic trends, cultural nuances, regulatory frameworks, and client preferences; and U.S. and LATAM banking regulations. This position requires oral, auditory, and written fluency in the Spanish language. This position requires the following license(s): SIE.
Job Location: 1450 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. This position requires up to 15% domestic travel and 15% international travel to Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay to visit various client sites.
