Associate - Quant Research/Developer - Equities

As the Equity Research Professional within our Research team, you will be responsible for setting and improving organizational objectives and ensuring their consistent accomplishment. You will update and maintain Global Equities Earnings Estimates and related reports, conduct periodic analysis and evaluation of equity market data, and contribute to generating insights from proprietary, alternative, and traditional datasets. Collaborating with investment professionals and technology partners, you will assist in developing investment signals, factors, and user tools for investment processes. Your role involves studying fundamental data to identify opportunities and risks, collecting, organizing, and assessing market data to enhance research insights, and supporting the assessment of equity market trends and investment opportunities. You will work closely with Directors of Research and Quant Research Analysts to integrate insights into JPMAM's research and investment processes. Additionally, you will communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain Global Equities Earnings Estimates and related reports.
- Conduct periodic analysis and evaluation of equity market data.
- Contribute to generating insights from proprietary, alternative, and traditional datasets.
- Collaborate with investment professionals and technology partners on end-to-end solutions.
- Assist in developing investment signals, factors, and user tools for investment processes.
- Study fundamental data to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collect, organize, and assess market data to enhance research insights.
- Support the assessment of equity market trends and investment opportunities.
- Work closely with Directors of Research and Quant Research Analysts.
- Integrate insights into JPMAM's research and investment processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :
- Hold a postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative field.
- Demonstrate at least 4 years of relevant experience in research or data analysis.
- Show strong interest in quantitative analysis, investments, and macroeconomics.
- Possess experience working with large datasets.
- Exhibit proficiency in Python and SQL programming.
- Display intellectual curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Analyze complex financial and market data.
- Work well in a global, cross-functional team environment.
- Deliver high-quality, actionable research insights.
- Adapt to evolving market trends and research needs.
