Job Summary
As a Risk Manager in the Global Custody Asset Servicing Middle Office Risk team, you will oversee risk management for complex voluntary corporate action and income events across all asset classes and markets. You will manage complex queries and issues from various internal teams, ensuring seamless event processing from inception to payment. You will play a key role in supporting client service, middle office, and operational processing teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on technical, domain, and operational aspects.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements using strategic tools like Alteryx and AI capabilities.
  • Drive change and lead firmwide initiatives within the team.
  • Serve as escalation contact for complex issues and risk mitigation.
  • Lead and guide a team of Subject Matter Experts, offering ongoing feedback.
  • Manage and resolve complex queries from internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with client service and middle office teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Analyze and address operational and technical issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior business executives.
  • Support work across APAC, EMEA, and NA time zones as required.
  • Ensure compliance with risk and control frameworks throughout all processes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrate extensive experience in Corporate Actions processing.
  • Exhibit deep knowledge of the full Asset Servicing product lifecycle.
  • Understand Corporate Actions and Income accounting entries thoroughly.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with Asset Servicing products.
  • Drive change using strategic tools such as Alteryx and AI capabilities.
  • Balance strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage relationships with demanding stakeholders and set clear expectations.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Leverage experience in Investment Banking or Global Custody operations (Trades, Cash, FX, Reconciliations).
  • Apply excellent problem-solving skills to operational and technical challenges.
  • Communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, with diverse stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships across various teams, including senior executives.
  • Deliver results within tight timeframes and with minimal supervision.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support global time zones.
  • Utilize client service and middle office exposure to enhance team performance.
