As a Area Product Owner within Asset Management Product and Experience you will play a pivotal role in high-visibility initiatives. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Data Owners, Investors, Reporting Specialists, and Technologists to ensure our data infrastructure is robust, reliable, and ready for client use. Your expertise in the life cycle of data will be crucial in shaping the future of our data products. We are on a mission to execute a multi-year global transformation of our Publishing Solutions product line, creating an infrastructure that supports millions of client deliverables annually and enhances client experiences across all communication channels.

Job responsibilities
- Lead a scrum team as area product owner, building the data platform for client reporting in Asset Management
- Own backlog, requirements, and delivery, ensuring continuous planning for the scrum team
- Mentor and develop data analysts, fostering a high-performing and continuously learning team
- Analyze financial data requirements and reporting functions across global asset management products
- Document data sources, domains, and map current to target state data lineage.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Technologists to saturate the data mesh (Snowflake) with client-ready data
- Develop data governance processes, data quality rules, and scalable data architectures to support business goals
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated ownership of the data layer within a product suite, with hands-on expertise in at least one major asset class (e.g., fixed income, equities)
- Proficiency in Excel, Python or similar data analysis and transformation tools
- Exceptional documentation, analytical, and reasoning abilities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Fluency in Fixed Income analytics or characteristics data and applicable use cases, business rules or logic from a client reporting perspective
- Experience working with complex reporting frameworks and platforms
- Experience in creating data taxonomies, data dictionaries, and data governance models
- Competency in managing APIs and data product management
- Educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related data field
- Experience with Snowflake, Big Data, and architecting financial data sets as data products highly desirable
- Relevant certifications such as CFA/CAIA, AWS, Snowflake, or Python
