Job Summary:

As the Executive Director in the Asset Management - Private Credit and Real Asset Investment Risk team, you will collaborate with Senior members of the Research, Investment Risk, and Portfolio Management teams to formulate risk and investment insights that can be leveraged by the Investment Committee to generate the best outcomes for our clients. You will engage in a rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis of people, process, and investment strategies. Additionally, you will contribute to a wide variety of projects aimed at maintaining and improving our risk management practices, knowledge, analytics, and infrastructure.

Job responsibilities:

Investment risk due diligence and portfolio risk oversight
- Focus on Private Asset strategies
- Collaborate with Senior members of the Research, Investment Risk, and Portfolio Management teams
- Formulate risk and investment insights
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving risk management practices

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 10 + years of experience in an investment/risk role with exposure to Private Credit, Real Assets, Structured Credit, or other alternative investment strategies
  • A strong understanding of Private Credit and Real Asset strategies
  • Experience evaluating leverage facilities utilized for illiquid assets
  • A strong risk intuition and intellect, coupled with a deep understanding of risk issues across a range of private asset classes and strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately weigh both practical and theoretical risk with portfolio management concerns
  • Confidence and poise to interview Private Credit and Real Asset managers fund managers and risk management professionals, with an ability to maintain strong ongoing relationships inside and outside the firm
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • MBA / CFA / CRM preferred
  • Tableau, Python & SQL experience is a plus
