Asset Management - Data Product Manager - Senior Associate

We are executing a multi-year global transformation of our Publishing Solutions product line, building infrastructure that supports millions of client deliverables annually and enhances client experiences across all communication channels.
As a Senior Associate, Data Product Manager, you will play a key supporting role in high-visibility initiatives, working closely with Product Owners, Data Owners, Reporting Specialists, and Technologists. Your skills in documenting and managing data requirements will contribute to the success of our client reporting function and the strength of our data infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
- Support data working groups, shaping data dictionaries, business use cases, and reporting standards that set the industry pace
- Assist in tracing and documenting data sources, lineage, and ETL/ELT flows
- Help identify and document System-of-Record (SOR) dependencies to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
- Collaborate in designing and documenting secure, scalable data architectures and repeatable processes for client content production
- Contribute to the development and execution of data strategies that enhance client reporting solutions
- Communicate technical data requirements and insights to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Assist in implementing data governance frameworks and data quality controls
- Monitor, document, and help improve data quality, consistency, and integrity across client reporting outputs
- Use tools such as Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and Pendo to support data cataloging, transformation, analysis, and visualization
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience working with data in a financial services or asset management environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (Python, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx) for validation, mapping, and insights; attention to detail in documentation
- Solid analytical and reasoning abilities
- Ability to apply mathematical and statistical methods to analyze and validate data for client deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake is a plus
- Exposure to at least one major asset class (e.g., fixed income, equities) is preferred
- Ability to present data findings and requirements to technical and business stakeholders
- Exposure to creating data taxonomies, data dictionaries, or data governance models
- Understanding of APIs and data product management
- Educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related data field
- Relevant certifications such as CFA/CAIA, AWS, Snowflake, or Python are advantageous
